No. 01 — Where it all started
We met at Radford University, at a social through Colin's fraternity. Neither of us walked in expecting anything. Samantha was there for a friend, Colin was there because his brothers made him go, and somewhere in a loud room we ended up in a conversation that lasted a lot longer than either of us planned. We kept finding reasons to spend time with each other after that day.
No. 02 — The early days
We started dating on November 6th, 2022. We were learning each other's routines, meeting the people who mattered most to us, and finding comfort in simply being together. Somewhere along the way, our lives started to intertwine. Our circles grew together, our weekends started looking the same, and spending every day together became the new normal.
No. 03 — The life we built
Now we live together in Frederick, Maryland. Samantha is an interior designer, so she spends her days making other people's spaces feel like home and then comes back and quietly does the same thing to ours. Colin started his own AI company in 2025, which means a fair number of long nights and a running joke about how many times one person can say "just one more thing before dinner."
No. 04 — The in between
Eventually, life together became less about the big moments and more about the little ones we came to love. Sunday grocery trips, the same three dinners on repeat, walks around the neighborhood, and the comfort of coming home to each other. We built a life that felt familiar and entirely our own.
No. 05 — Where forever starts
On July 31, 2026, Colin proposed to Samantha in Cambridge, Maryland, on what she thought was a birthday trip for Colin. What started as a weekend away quickly became one of our favorite memories together. Now, we get to look forward to this next chapter in our lives and celebrate it with all the people who have been part of our story along the way.
